Where you are

The night side of the Moon, with Earth in the sky

You arrive on a quiet, cratered world lit mostly by its own glow and a soft blue Earthlight from the horizon. It’s beautiful, and it’s trying to kill you — vacuum, cold, meteors, the long lunar night when the solar arrays go dark. Everything you build is a small, stubborn argument that people belong here.

Read the light

The three colors of the Moon

Color means something here — in the art and in the game. Learn the three and you can read your colony at a glance.

Cyan — the colony

Power, dome lights, solar, the friendly hum of a place that’s working. When the Moon glows cyan, your people are housed, warm, and breathing.

Amber — industry

Refineries, rockets, work-lights, and warnings. Amber is the heat of building something — and the color that flickers when something needs you.

Purple — the unknown

Helium-3, the deep cold, and the thing on the far ridge. Purple is the color the Moon turns when it stops being empty. You’ll learn to watch for it.

Pick a side

Two doctrines. You only get one.

Partway through, the colony commits to a path — and it’s exclusive. The choice reshapes how you grow and how the second half plays.

Industrial Automation

Lean into machines, throughput, and scale. Build fast, build big, and let the line run — at the cost of a lighter touch on the world.

Sustainable Habitats

Lean into life: hydroponics, closed loops, colonists who thrive. Slower to scale, but a colony that holds together when the Moon turns hostile.

Watch it grow

Three eras, from pod to spire

  1. 01

    Pioneer

A landing pod, a first dome, a single light in the dark. Everything is fragile and everything is new.

  2. 02

    Expansion

Districts, rovers, a second colony on the far side. The map opens up and the Moon starts to feel like yours.

  3. 03

    Wonder

Glowing geodesics on stalks, a central spire, a city that lights the night. You built this — and something noticed.

No spoilers

And then there’s the signal.

Research orbital scanning and the far ridge starts to answer. A Contact codex fills in as you learn the truth, fragment by fragment, until you can open the Gateway — and keep going into a second act, The Waking. We won’t tell you what’s out there. That part is yours.
